Titanium jewellery!

Titanium is a chemical element with the symbol Ti and atomic number 22. It is a light, strong, lustrous, corrosion-resistant (including to sea water and chlorine) transition metal with a grayish color.

Is a very friendly metal το the human body without it creates allergies; this is also one of the basic reasons that were also used in jeweler’s trade.

The coloring is caused by the presence of a very thin transparent oxide film on the metal surface, and that the color seen is dependent on the film.

The colors are purely an optical effect, no dyes or pigments are involving, they are controlled solely by the thickness of the film and anything which affects the thickness of the film will affect the color seen. Consequently, the color are permanent and unchanging as long as the film remains intact, but dirt or grease films will degrade or change the colors and reduction of the film thickness by abrasion or scratching or other means may permanently change or lower the intensity of the colors.
