Maya's hand made Jewellery !!!!

Today I'm just super exited!!!
Maya's unique work arrived this morning! Corals, pearls, turquoise , smoky quartz, amethyst, Carneol , citrine, lava and aqua marines are bonding together with silver, leather, wood, rubber, bone, shell or polymer clay to a unique result.

Just look at the photos and enjoy the innovative use of materials, the out of the box design and the creativity and amazing craftsmanship of an artist that has experimenting with honesty and love for 30 years!

Recycled silk necklaces !

Hello my dearest friends from all over the world !
It's such an amazingly bright and sunny morning in Paphos!!! We had some nice rain for a couple of days so everything is refreshed and clean!!!

At Kivotos gallery we are full of energy and good mood :) Of course this is exactly the time of the year that we anticipate more, as the first new arts & crafts arrivals are on their way or they are already on display!
Visiting the artists workshops during January and February is one of my favorite coffee&chat "working " days time. It s also the time I meet and associate for the first time, to artists that either I knew and admired their work through time, or to artists I meet for the first time. I always follow my instinct and I'm proud to say that my associates are also my friends!
That's how I met Fotini and loved her and her work at once. Fotini is a vivid, cheerful , chatty beautiful and very stylish woman and her work is alternative, bright and free spirit like her! So in the above photos are some samples of what Fotini is making with recycled silk but also with cotton and ribbon . You can adjust the length of these neck pieces to fit your style. So twist them, reshape them and have fun with them! They can dress up and give a unique look to any outfit!

Kivotos has been closed for winter holidays !
We are officially re opening on Monday 17th February but we will be on duty on Thursday 13 th and Friday 14th 8:30am 1:30 pm to help our friends choosing a gift for their loved ones!!!
Saturday 15th we are attending a peace building conference so we will be away!!
And some other good news!! We are beginning our 18th birthday celebrations by offering a month of -20% on all our wall art items!!!

Coming back to our friends from all over the world

Today is that ...historical day of the year that Spring cleaning begins at Kivotos gallery! That means that after 3 weeks of ..creative holidays we are back with a new vision for the new year, full of energy and anticipation to make a fresh start! This year we are going to have our
18th birthday!!! Time flied away but we are still young at heart and spirit and always in love with arts and crafts by local artists.




Our 2014 motto is " ..because you are my friend ". It's a year of friendship and forgotten feelings. Let us all find our friendly smile and the tenderness in our heart, the unpretentious joy of the moment and the closeness of a friend sitting next to us making future plans or remembering hilarious moments we shared!




So, in a few days we are going to be officially open and ready to display our new treasures !

Winter holidays !

We are going to be closed this month! It's the month visiting artists workshops and crafts fairs! It's also the year that Kivotos will become 18 years old! Today is actually the first day I felt I should wear a cardigan! There is no rain, just sunshine and lovely colors around :)

We love color this winter and we also love the imaginary approach of our young associating artist Valia!

It's gifts time!

Hey All!

October had been an amazingly busy month and I'm really sorry I posted nothing at my blog for so long!

Getting ready for Christmas is again not an easy task too :)
A lot of new jewellery designs are on their way to Kivotos gallery and a lot of other crafts for small or bigger gifts are coming in soon so as with just one stop at Kivotos gallery you can really make your life easier by finding something suitable and special for everybody!
Who of you knows Kivotos gallery, you also know that we have a very friendly and helpful environment that makes you feel at home. ( This also applies to gentlemen having a hard time finding the suitable gift for their partner).

We are here the same spot for the last 17 Christmases and we are happy a new exciting year is coming soon.
( OMG I didn't realized I miss Christmas!!! It's so hot at this time that it seems weird to think about Christmas !!!)

See you soon ( wearing short sleeves in December and sitting under the trees to get protected from the hot sun....)
